Meet NinjaTrader

📖 Written guide

Learn what the Control Center, charts, and common platform windows are used for.

Think of NinjaTrader as a workspace made up of connected windows for viewing and studying market data. Start by learning what each window does; there is no need to open every feature at once.

Key concepts

Control Center
The platform's main window, where you can open other windows and manage the current workspace.
Chart
A window that displays price data for a selected instrument, interval, and chart style.
Workspace
A saved arrangement of platform windows and their layout.

Learn it step by step

  1. 1After opening the platform, locate the Control Center.
  2. 2Use the New menu to become familiar with window names such as Chart, SuperDOM, and Market Analyzer.
  3. 3Open one chart, review its data series, interval, and trading-hours template, and add other windows only as needed.

The interface and available options can change between platform versions. Check the Help Guide for the version you use.
